Two versions of Csrss.exe (& csrss.exe) running

I checked the task manager today and found two versions of this
running at once. ( csrss.. & Csrss... )

I've read some confusing things about this process.

Should I allow both to be running?

I have xp(sp1) running with Zonealarm & aol.

Anybody able to help?
