With this, you should be perfectly ok to remove the s/w firewall. What
additional security could it provide anyway? Maybe it can tell you
about "good" software trying to connect to the internet. But what
about the "bad"? It would fake you anyway, telling you it was
iexplore.exe or anything. And malware is for sure faster than you can
possibly be, when it comes to cklicking the personal firewall´s "OK"
or "Deny" buttons.

What it will take, of course, is being careful and very selective as
to which sites you visit and whitch attachments you open. But this is
true whether you have a s/w firewall installed or not.
