BlackICE Uninstall/Install problems!!!

    I tried to uninstall BlackICE, but the procedure failed as it insisted a
    file which was required was missing. I then tried to install BlackICE over
    the top of the existing version (thinking if I did this, it would then let
    me uninstall it) but it would not let me. I then deleted it manually from
    the programme directory and removed all the registry entries I could find,
    such as those in startup etc. I even ran two registry cleaners to remove any
    trace - however, when I try to install BlackICE now, It greets me with a
    message telling me that the BlackICe Daemon is already installed etc etc and
    aborts the install.

    There is no trace of BlackICE that I can see and no registry entries.

    How the hell do I get it to install again?

    help!
