It means it is time for a new router. Check your manual, the troubleshooting
section says its time to call tech support if this happens because you have
a hardware problem. I bought an FM114P in late 2002 and am currently on my
third warranty replacement. Each router failed as you describe. Cycling the
power did not solve the problem and the reset button on the back of the unit
did not function. PC's attached to the router reported that their network
cable was unplugged. The only reason I have not switched to a different
wireless router is that all of my FM114P's failed while still under
warranty. It must be a fairly common problem because each time I called
tech support they approved an RMA immediately once I described the problem.
I'm very glad I kept my old wired router as a spare when I purchased the
FM114P.
