Watchguard FB700 & email problem

I'm having a problem with a Watchguard Firebox 700.

Some emails are getting mangled with this message:

[Attachment denied by WatchGuard SMTP proxy (type "(none)",
filename"(none)")]

These are plain email messages with no attachments... a blank email comes
through instead of the text. I haven't been able to pin it down to anything
specific - it happens from various outside users with different computer
configs. Most incoming emails are fine, just a few do this. Any help would
be appreciated.
