Thank you for your response. Can you recommend/suggest any routers
that do allow for such customized rules?

As for a second router, one additional piece of information I forgot
to mention that makes this a little more complicated - the BEFSX41 is
also plugged into an HPNA (2.0) bridge. Computers B and D both access
the network through the house phone line. So unfortunately I can't (I
don't think) put A and B on a separate physical network from C and D.
