If you check your firewall log you will likely see an entry similar
to: "...Ceiling for number of connections reached dropping packet..."
The processor just can't handle the load with SPI enabled
("advanced"). Hopefully, not too many hackers will pound away on an
ip address that doesn't answer for 1000 connections, in hopes that
they'll get a "port closed" from #1001 (#90x for yours).
