My work around for this was to use the NWlink NetBios and NWlink IPX/SPX
NetBios protocols on the NIC's. The protocols allowed my wired and
wireless machines to see each other on the network with WEP enabled.

If you decide to use them, I suggest that you uninstall the current
protocol before installing NWlink. Otherwise, you may hose the TCP/IP
Stack on the machine, but that's easy to fix if that happens. Of course,
you need not uninstall the TCP/IP protocol during this procedure.
