a watchguard firebox 700 box is around $2000 per box. There are around 600
users, each box has limit of 250, so I'll need 3 boxes. That's around
$6000, closer to $5000 if I get a really good deal.
Using linux with squid on 2 decent workstations would cost less than $1000!
I have to keep a tight budget! We aren't in a great economy, in case you
haven't noticed.

Those watchguard boxes look nice....but the price is an issue.

Linux can do most, if not all the functions that the watchguard router can
do....maybe even more.

thanks,

Oskar
