New Post to New BlackICE User Question

I refer to my previous question here under the heading "New BlackICE
User Question "

In Duane Arnolds reply to this he states :- ".... At system startup,
that RED line will be there and the menu will
be disabled until BI is fully up and running and then the menu will
become enabled and the RED line will go away. The RED line will come
and
go at times based on your activities when accessing the Internet like
surfing or accessing email, etc....."

The trouble is that that did happen for some days after intial
installation but , in spite of frequent web activities recently ,
this red line has not gone away and no intrusions and/or activities
have appeared in the log. To me it looks as if B.I. has just stopped
performing . Do you think I should re-install it ?
