Using Kerio Firewall all the time, I was surprised when the following
happened.
An automatic process is running to FTP-upload a JPG-file and a Java-script
to my homepage on the server of my provider.
The software that takes care of the uploads is FTP-Widget (SSTV-Cam).
The files arrive at the site, but are 0 bytes in size.
I had an e-mail conversation about this with the maker of FTP-Widget. He did
not know a solution and never heard of such a problem.
Then the thought crossed my mind that my firewall could cause this, so I
switched it off.
And: yes, the files arrived A-oke on the site.
When I look in Advanced Options of Kerio, the FTP-Widget software is
configured for TCP uploads on all ports and all (sorry, forgot it),
well, in any case, for everything.
What could be the cause that, inspite all FTP-Widget sends is allowed, Kerio
is the cause that the uploaded files arrive at the homepage server as
null-files?
(My other FTP program is WS_FTP95LE and with Kerio firewall switched on,
everything is sent out oke.)
Thanks in advance...
