Are you running a mail transfer agent (MTA) - i.e. do you have a
domain and an MX record?
If you do then you should be seeing, and should be able to block by IP
address, smtp connections from the spam originating / relaying ISP at
your firewall. Better yet, configure your MTA to use one of the
DSNBLs such as SPEWS, SPAMCOP, etc.
If you don't then you will most likely only be receiving e-mail from
your ISP's mail server. You wouldn't want to block that, you wouldn't
get any mail at all.
