It is great to hear from the developer of this firewall. You should give me
an e-mail to report bugs, I have a few bugs (unwanted behaviours) for the
GUI, otherwise firewall is stable and runs fast. Very nice product.
BUG #1
In version 2.0.2 when you run Configuration Wizard, after you done it asks
whether you want to import the rules (etc), after you say yes the wizard
does not end, it will ask you things such as whether or not to start
firewall when windows starts, etc. After you make these changes it will ask
you again to import rules or not. Now, if you answer yes to these requests,
the rules that were previously imported into firewall disappear. Bug!
BUG #2/Unwanted behaviour
When you have rules in your firewall and you run Configuration Wizard and
then accept to import rules when prompted, the rules that you had before are
gone. That is not desirable behaviour. Sometimes I wish to add rules for a
particular program and I have to use Configuration Wizard, but I also want
to keep my old rules. I think configuration Wizard should have a checked by
default check box, saying "&Keep existing rules for all protocols"
I have more bugs for that GUI. This could easily take 10 pages. Let me
know your e-mail or other way of notifying you of bugs. My e-mail is
kd107@msn.com, send with subject THIS_IS_NO_SPAM_, as mailbox is set to
exclusive and most mail arrives to Junk Mail folder.
