Hi,
I know very little about firewalls. This is my first step towards my
education.
This is the situation...I bought a used pc with a lot of programs already
loaded. I was told that it had firewall software...Maybe Norton, or Neo...
But, I can't find an icon, or the program in my program files.
Is it normal for the program to be stealth, for user protection?
If not, do you know any typical application names that I might search for.
The system has an icon for Norton Anti-Virus...but it doesn't look like the
firewall program.
I do notice a tab on my toolbar some times that has the word 'Gaithersburg's
on it, but when I click it, nothing appears.
Any hints as to where I might start to 1) find the application, and 2)
activate it?
