If you need to contact Microsoft for updates, or messenger, or
hotmail, then delete that rule or "untick" it
It is not a problem.
I find that when I start with Sponges ruleset, I untick the "block
all" rule - that way kerio alerts me when I try to contact out
something which it does not know about e.g. for a hotmail account, or
peer-to-peer.
After I have "trained" kerio to suit my internet activity, I then
reinstate the block all rule - you can now carry on in relative safety
