Configuration Question from Newb...Please

I've downloaded the free version of Kerio. I installed it a couple of
times and disabled the file sharing option on the reboot screen. I
tried to connect to the Internet and got a couple of hundred screens
asking for permission. Then I could not connect to the Internet after
denying some.

I am a real newbie at trying to configure any firewall software.

I need to access the Internet for the following:
(using WinXP and Charter ISP)

Internet (surfing)
MS Outlook 2003 (Beta)
Agent newsreader

Can anyone help? I did visit the Kerio website and saw the ruleset
packages but am still drifting a bit.

Thanks for any help because it would be nice to get my *** covered.
