It is scaremongering by PCFlank. I thought Symantec was the only one that did
that. The "previous sites" is one site, the one that had the hyperlink that got
you there, if you used one. Most firewalls don't have a "referer" blocking
feature. A few do, and they make a big deal out of it. It is not really a
firewall function. Cookie control is also not a firewall function, and cookies
can easily be blocked with browser settings.

I am not familiar with the Sponge ruleset, so someone else will have to tackle
that question.
