Hi

I'm running Slackware 8.0 kernel 2.4.5
iptables 1.2.2 and apache web server
As I'm on a DHCP, each time my IP changes I have to do
# iptables -I INPUT -s 0/0 -p TCP --dport 80 -j ACCEPT,
otherwise I cannot get access to the web server from the outside.

So I put the command in my reconnect srcipt
I was just wondering *why* I have to do that
ports 21, 22 & all are ok ..

any ideas ?
