Software firewall Newbie, looking for a good comparison of these
two products. The Symantec site doesn't seem to give you the
exact story on the differences between these two, but instead
blurs the line somewhat. Other than the Pro costing $30 more,
there doesn't seem to be much difference, not $30 worth
anyway.... Can anyone shed any light?

Currently have 3 PCs with private IPs on a cable modem behind a
LinkSys BEFSR41, unbound NetBios from TCP/IP and Client for
Microsoft Networks per Steve Gibson and a couple of other
security sites I found. Plan to use NetBEUI for file sharing
behind the router later on, but for now all file/print sharing is
turned off until I decide on a second level of protection.
Thought I ought to be fairly safe set up as I am so far, but
still looking into software firewalls for each PC, or maybe a
BEFSX41? My daughter is making noises about (Horrors!) Kazaa, so
I'll more protection soon. Reading up on KazaaLite here... Still
seems quite the b*tch...

Thanks!
