Help with Norton Internet Security 2003 and IE Script Error

Can someone help me please with Norton Internet Security 2003
(Professional Edition)?

I have installed NIS 2003 on to my computer and is getting the following
error message:

    An error has occurred in the script on this page

    Line 291
    Char 5
    Error Automation server can't create object
    Code 0
    URL res://nisplug.dll/10036

    Do you want to continue with running scripts on this page?

                      Yes/No

I am unable to access any of the functions under the Status & Settings
menu, ie Security,
Personal Fire Wall, Intrusion Detection, Privacy Control, Ad Blocking
- all these options
have a status of "Refreshing" instead of "On", and nothing happens when
I click at these
options.

Also, I cannot see Spam Alert or Productivity Control options on the
screen.

When I completed my installation, and restarted the computer, there was
an error message
indicating settings were not imported correctly (I had Norton Internet
Security 2002 installed
previously).

I am currently using Win 98, and have IE6.

Please can someone help? Should I uninstall NIS 2003, and go back to
NIS 2002?
