Recently got DSL and the above mentioned router/modem. Not knowing a
whole lot about firewalls etc, I do understand this router/modem combo
has a built in firewall. My question, I play online games sometimes, and
would like to host some, but I guess my firewall keeps that from
happening. I can connect to other peoples games, but they cannot connect
to mine. I have the manual for the router/modem, but to be perfectly
honest, it is waaay over my head with the terminology etc. Is there a
newbie site/walkthru that could show me how to host online games thru my
firewall on one of the three PC's(Win 98se) I have networked? I think
DMZ may be the answer, but I dont understand on how to set that up
etc...I dont want to go have to earn a computer science degree just to
play an occasional game ;) Any help/advice appreciated...
