We want to setup a seperate backup network, to take the load of our
firewalls.

The idea I had was to get seperate nic cards and a seperate hub,
therefore traffic bypassing the firewalls, the problem with this is
that we would not have security anymore since if one box is accessed,
then all others could be as no control would be applied to the backup
network.

Does anyone have any ideas about a solution? Ive heard there is some
secure backup protocol you can use. We use sun solstice backup.

thanks
