ZA was at least at one time a good program. It has a good feature set which
some find useful. Being able to control outbound access at such a granular
level as it provides can be useful. The plus version is quite configurable,
nice for someone who needs this. Bloatware? Depends on the user. Some like
to have a lot of configurability and features in a single program and others
don't. It seems over the past year their updates have not been implemented
in an efficient manner. It has turned into a resource hungry, buggy program.
Some people don't experience these problems, maybe due to their own personal
set up or usage, but so many have. Hopefully they get their act together and
fix it. I had it on a my travel laptop in the past and every version seemed
to just make things worse. The privacy controls started off buggy, and then
they added their phone home from startup when offline snafu. Add to that the
settings corruption problem, a memory leak, and the newest "unknown process"
problem. And they seem to be adding new functionality from time to time
without fixing the old problems. Not a good track record for the past year
or so. Anyhow hopefully they get their development problems squared away so
they can once again provide what once was IMHO a very good program.
