Hi all:

Can anyone tell me what port 1080 is used for?
The reason I am asking is I have been getting
complaints from my ISP that a computer in our
network is spamming people. The thing is this
computer does not run a mail server, it's just
a regular computer and yet, it's IP is the originator
of the spams. Could it be used to spam through
port 1080 or whatever?

I do have a Server running Small Business Server
with Proxy for people in the network, will blocking
port 1080 affect them? block them from accessing
the net?

Any help or advice will be appreciated, I'm a novice
with this.

Thanks.
