No, it doesn't "make them stupid and morons" (M$ products do that by
default), it makes them lemmings.
What does make them "stupid and morons" is not reading what they agree to in
EULAs etc. Your analogy screams more of the same tired old drivel, that the
word "I" does not belong next to the phrase "am responsible" for anything
including reading what "I" am agreeing to in a contract. "Poor me, I didn't
know" and the like.
If it is not a person's fault they are complacent, then whose is it? I would
suppose that using your logic it would be their parents, grandparents,
ancestors, or anything else but themselves. After all, it is far easier to
justify errors by blaming anyone or anything else, than to accept that one
has been a fool or an idiot.
Myself, if I was part of the crowd affected by all this I would sure be
feeling like an idiot, a moron, and just plain pretty damned stupid.
I personally have no love at all for anything at all that was ever spawned
by M$. They are a business, a successful and ruthless one. Why people
continue to use their products in the face of overwhelming evidence in the
news world-wide that their personal best interest is not what they are
served is beyond me. Sure sounds pretty idiotic and moronic to me.

Microsoft is not the answer, it is the question. The answer is NO!!!
