The setting of 192.168.0.0/255.255.255.0 is the one that Zone Alarm
automatically entered as LAN.

This means all computers on your LAN can see each other.
It does not open your LAN to the internet.

Using Shields up at www.grc.com gives a stealth rating to the system and all
ports checked. So my LAN is not open to the world.

I am running 4 computers on the network through a netgear 4 port router.
