dns and firewall

Somebody knows on wich port does DNS zonetransfert are made ?
I use iptables, i've put INPUT: DROP OUTPUT & FORWARD are in ACCEPT
when i say udp/tcp 53, either source or destination, i'm still not able to
transfert any zones.
