Running ZA Pro 3.5.169.002 (no update available on ZL's website) on a
W98SE system with a cable modem, Linksys router, Norton AV 2003,
Moosoft's Cleaner3. Since installing this new version we periodically
get this error when trying to access websites (can be any site,
happens at random, but most commonly when we try to open "URL"
shortcuts on the desktop).

Contacted ZoneAlarm a month ago via email. Their response:

----------------------------------------------------
Thank you for contacting Zone Labs. The issue which you reported is
currently a known issue to us. Our engineers are working toward
resolving this. Currently, we plan on this being resolved in our
next release of ZoneAlarm Pro.

In some of the cases, a program may stop working if you deny access
to the "unknown process" (these usually show the process as trying
to access DNS via port 53). If you deny access and a program stops
working, you may need to shut down and restart that program - then
you will need to allow the access. However, you should NOT check the
box to remember that choice.

Best Regards,

I do not know what port is attempting to be accessed, the "More Info"
button is grayed out.

Anyone else seeing this alert?

Any idea what it is?

All scans (Norton, Cleaner3) come up clean.

Thanks, kj
