I recently went through this exercise with Linksys. First, let me say that I
think their customer support SUCKS!!

Now that I got that off my chest, I will try to save you the trouble of
calling them a half a dozen times just to get two techs who will give you
the same answer.

You should get the BEFVP41 router. This is a hardware-based VPN device that
will establish and maintain a VPN tunnel between the devices without user
intervention or impact (theoretically). I don't remember if it has a
built-in firewall, so you may need to add that capability. You can run
separate LAN's behind the routers, on different subnets, and (theoretically)
the devices will pass NetBIOS broadcasts.
