I wouldn't call them "fears." I just know the easy route would be to
simply alter the display, rather than actually nix HTML code in the message.
The reason I remain skeptical is because I haven't seen any code being
displayed in the plain text display in the messages that I know are HTML.
In my other mail reader, I can see the HTML code in plain text.
This could be due to filters in place to remove it. But, in either
case, I have never been too concerned about that particular vulnerability.
Certainly, it's been around long enough, and isn't taken advantage of too
frequently.
