The best thing about Watchguards (Firebox 700-4500) is that they have
proxied services. The SMTP (mail) proxy is outstanding. It can filter out
attachments, drop spam, and stop bad mail from every entering your network.
You can also proxy HTTP, DNS, and other services. Sonicwall does not offer
this.
The WatchGuard VPN is about the same as the Sonicwall. Sonicwalls seem to
have some quality issues. We had a few of them and they were always going
belly up on us.
I'd spring for the WatchGuards if you want one. And if you need a reseller -
I know a really great one in Oregon who helped us out a lot.
