And the winning solution was simply to turn on passive mode via the "Use
Passive FTP for compatibility with some firewalls and DSL modems." and not
the "folder view" switch (as the MS support site states). Seems to work
just fine and it seems to work the same as before.

BTW, I actually tried the insane way to test if the post triggering would
work. I let it trigger on ANY port and then opened all the incoming ports.
Not exactly the safest way to run a firewall, but for testing a theory, what
the heck. Anyhow, it didn't work, supporting Mynd's belief.
