I use Win2k on all my machines behind the router. The router has some
firewall like capabilities. BlackIce is on all my machines behind the router

Intrusion Detection applies to all Windows O/S(s).

If you really want to know how BlackIce IDS/firewall protects, then go to
"H.D. content visible on web" thread in this newsgroup and view my first

picture.
