You can download the software to your hard drive and disconnect from the
Internet and then login as Admin and install software.

On the other hand, I don't do everything the Defense link says to do, but a
lot of it I do. I am behind the router and BlackIce so I am on the Internet
with an Admin account.

You'll have to see what best fits your needs.
