Anyone able to get these two apps singing the same tune?

I have been unable to configure Norton's Firewall to allow MSM Messenger 5
to function.

The best I have been able to achieve is to delete the Messenger entry in
Norton's Access Control list. Then on first attempt to sign in, if I am fast
enough, I can grant Messenger permission to get through and I get signed in.
This entry gets saved in the list, but I cannot sign in a second time. I
have tried various manual configurations, but to no avail.

Any thoughts?

Thanks, Andrew
