A couple of things you may want to do.

1) Stay off the Internet using an Administrator account
2) If your not using NTFS, then move to it. You can use the Convert command
to convert from Fat32 to NTFS
3) Remove the EVERYONE account from accessing all disk drives.
4) Give SERVICES and SYSTEMS full access to all drives

With the Win NT, 2K and XP O/S(s) the protection of the machine starts at
the O/S and not with the software firewall, AV, etc., etc. Everything else
is secondary to the O/S. There are host of other things you can enable or do
with the Win 2k O/S to let it protect itself.

Also if you using IE and OE learn how to secure them too you can go to
Google for that.

I think your still kind of vulnerable to attack from the Internet unless you
have like router and a software firewall.

I have BlackIce behind the router. You can do a ZA and BlackIce thing to
better protect the machine, if you're not behind a router.
