Yes or No: Zone Alarm Pro on a new PC (Win XP Home)

Will Zone Alarm Pro version 3 install cleanly and run successfully
(right out of the box) on my new Dell 8200 (right out of the box)
using Windows XP Home Edition?

Disclaimer: I have read the posts in this group but I don't really
know what you are talking about most of the time.

I am using a cable modem so I have also purchased a Linksys BEFSR41
ver 2 hardware firewall (after reading posts in this group; thanks).
 
I am having someone that knows what they are doing with a PC help get
me up and running.

I bought Zone Alarm Pro version 3 from Best Buy over the weekend.

PC came with Dell installing Norton Antivirus and Easy CD Creator on
it and anything else Dell puts on a new PC such as Works suite.

I am wondering about which product to install first such as Zone Alarm
Pro on the PC before even hooking up the Linksys firewall and
connecting to the Internet or reverse the installations.

I am also wondering which download upgrade scenerio I should follow
once the PC is connected to the Internet. With the PC and every
product new, is there an upgrade (via downloading) sequence that needs
to be followed so everything works together?

Lastly, what software settings should I setup in the various products
after I install them to protect my system (even on the PC as it sits
right now)?

I never had these problems when I setup my new slide rule many years
ago.
