Hi. My two LAN are protected by a XPRS2 (LAN 1, since 2 months) and
SOHO3 (LAN 2, since last friday) firewall rispectively.
Users may connect from LAN 2 to LAN 1 a UNIX server (by telnet session),
a MS-SQL Server (BY ODBC and OLEDB) and a file server sharing Office
documents.
After installing XPRS2, I seen that telnet sessions have became
instable. Terminal emulator closes connection whithout cause 2 o 3 times
in an hour.
After installing SOHO3 in LAN 2, all network resources in LAN 1 seems
not work properly from LAN 2: access to file server gives generic
network error when a user try to write or read a file form Server,
terminal session closes, database access is broken or very, very,
slow...
All problems persist also I set no filter in both firewall access
rules...
Both firewalls are working in a standard mode and Clients send IP
Packets to router gateway, not a firewall...
Firewall Log are normally empty and no dropped actions are shown...
Can you help me to solve this problem?
Thanks.
G.
