Hello,
I have set up my first FTP site on a Win2k Pro machine, and I am having some
issues on how to setup user account for access to the site.
Right now, I am accessing the FTP site on my home network behind the Linksys
router, because the admin accounts on both machines are the same, and I am
given access to the site.
However, if I change to a different user account on the client machine and
try to access the FTP site, I get permission error.
What I want is the User Login screen to display and based on user-id and
password given, allow access to the site.
Can I setup user-id and password for each user? Can I put all user accounts
in one group?
I am setting this up for family members so that they can upload and down
load files as needed.
I will be setting a BlackIce firewall rule to accept all IP(s) on port
20-21.
What do I need to do to make someone login?
Thanks for any help
Duane
