Hey Tobamore,

It's good that you've been able to disable remote management. This should
mean that no-one can connect to your telnet or http servers from the
internet. You could try to do so using from another computer (a friends,
perhaps, or at work if it is allowed) to make sure. If you aren't able to
connect then that's clearly a change for the better!

You still need to close the ports. Although you have stopped the services
running on those ports, (by disabling remote management) the ports
themselves appear to still be open (if your scan results are correct).
Follow the sections in the manual that I've mentioned before. I'm note sure
what else I can say about that really - like I say its not a router I've
used.

A search for the term "edimax router" on Google Groups reveals that most of
the posts about this product are made to Dutch speaking newsgroups. Perhaps
you could spend some time with an online translator going over a few of
these posts?
