Dunno, there. I am running ZAPlus, and MSN goes into Away for me.
Though, I've noticed that it takes longer than what I have the timer set
for. In order to test it, I set the time for 1 minute, and waited a
minute ... not touching a thing. Nothing happened. I tried several
settings within ZA, and it didn't change the result. I then turned off
the monitor, and watched the tele for about 20 minutes or so ... when I
came back, MSN Msngr was set to Away mode. So, there may be something
in ZA that is causing MSN to use its default timer setting regardless of
what you set it to. Certainly, I have set it to *not* tell me when new
mail arrives, yet I still get the popup window and sound when it does.
I never considered this behaviour related to ZA, but it could be that ZA
is blocking some traffic back to the server that allows MSN to transmit
user settings ... though, I should think that all of these commands
discussed here would be client side anyway.
