Just because your IP address changes every time you log on, don't think you
are safe.
You definitely need a firewall, but avoid Black Ice-- it's corrupt. A
"Homer Simpson" firewall/ids if you will.
At its default settings, it leaves port 5000 (Plug and Play) open and leaves
all ports above 1024 open also.
Real nice of them to leave customers wide open like that!
