It's making it (slowly) onto mine.
Distributions like Mandrake are to the point now where the "out of the
box" setup will rip and burn CD's, play music and movies, and even do
an acceptable job of displaying most Word documents properly, at least
on my hardware.
YMMV, of course.
Games are still an issue for home users (Quake 3 and Unreal Tournament
exist, but there isn't anything decent in the RTS realm that I'm aware
of), but those will come in time.
