Hi, thank you very much for all of your answers. I just disabled netbios on
my web server. i was expecting that after i do that, when i type in
\\MyWebServerIP\c$ in windows explorer, i would not be able to access
webserver's contents in the C hard drive. Surprisingly, i was able to
browser the contents freely as before as long as i provide user account
information. Is this normal? To my understanding from the previous
answers, disabling netbio also disallows files sharing, how come right now
i can still access files?
