Best Buy Firewall

ive been working at bestbuy for a couple weeks now and ive been messing with
the computers that we use there and it seems to let only verified websites
access the web like sony.com, compaq.com, etc.. the tech bench computers are
the only computers that let you have access to the entire web. the
computers all run windows nt 4 and have a proprietary bestbuy program that
loads on startup that doesnt let you access the desktop and almost
everything else. tried booting in safe mode but the program still runs. any
ideas that would let me browse the web of any website i like would be very
helpful.
