This is just a suggestion.

1) Download the Cleaner, which will detect and clean any Trojan horses on
the machine www.moosoft.com/thecleaner 25 day full trial version.
2) download Ad-aware, which removes any spy ware from the machine
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/ --- it's free
3) Download BlackIce Defender PC 3.5 www.ISS.net
4) disconnect machine from the Internet.
5) Install the Cleaner and run it.
6) Install Ad-aware and run it.
7) Run you AV application to clean any virus from the machine
8) Install BlackICE and run the Baseline on entire drive --- steps 5-7 are
to make sure machine is clean before doing Baseline thing.
9) Go to BlackIce Tools\Edit settings\Application Control and enable it to
"block phone home attempts" or stop any application from running on computer
such as a Trojan Horse.
10) Go to BlackIce Tools\Edit settings\Firewall and check-on Enable Auto
Block and set level to PARANOID.
11) Go to BlackIce Tools\Edit settings\Notifications and set Visual
Indicator to RED and ORANGE
12) Go to BlackIce Tools\Edit settings\Notifications and enable Update
Notification to get BlackIce updates.
13) Connect back to the Internet and you will have no more problems.

BlackIce is on all my machines behind the Linksys router, and I have no
issues going to any Website. BlackIce is not going to govern your Internet
activities and stop you from going to any Website, but BlackIce will stop an
attack from a Website such as worm, Trojan horse, etc. coming in the network
traffic.

Remember that if you install any new software on the machine, you should run
the Baseline on the entire drive to stop BlackIce notifications or run
Baseline on directory in question.

So if you want to surf the Internet with no BS, you got it!
