I've been using e-smith for about three years and think it's brill. Tons
of functionality and extremely robust - I've had about zero downtime
with e-smith over this time and it runs all our Internet services such
as mail, DNS, proxy, web server, etc. I'd recommend it to anyone.

As far as it's security is concerned, e-smith uses conventional Linux
tools to secure itself, i.e., iptables, tcpwrappers, etc., and allows
the use of SSH and SSL for securing remote access if you wish to use
them. Mitel are usually pretty quick to supply updates for issues
discovered in the services installed and these are usually installed as
rpm's, as are a myriad of e-smith and user provided add-ons, such as
snort, squidguard and my fave application, an mp3 jukebox.

Never used Clark, e-smith just does the biz, IME.
