There is (was?) a netiquette rule: Never crosspost to more than 3
newsgroups. IMO then this is spam.

I know, I participate in this crossposting now, if only someone would
set a proper f'up (for instance, I'm in comp.security.* and cols, so a
f'up to any of these groups is fine with me).
