If NetBEUI is feasible with the rest of your network setup and none of your
applications require NetBios, then NetBEUI is the way to go. It is more
efficient and much safer than NetBios. You will still be subject to the
vulnerabilities of TCP/IP because you need that for internet access, however
you will eliminate the multitude of security issues related to NetBios and
filesharing.
