Just curious, but why don't you want to "network" your computers? That would
be the easiest method to share the connection. Follow the suggestions given by
the other posters.

If you just don't need to share files, don't worry. The native file format of
the MAC is incompatible with the PC, and vice versa. File sharing between MAC
and PC requires software to translate the format.

If it is the cost of the components, the MAC should save you the cost of an
Ethernet card, as that is built in on MACs. Just plug a CAT-5 cable from the
MAC to the router/hub.
